Module 3: The Posture of Mourning – Transitions, by definition, require a leaving behind of something that was previously known. In this module we will look at how loss and liminality are traveling companions. Sometimes the leaving may be done by choice and sometimes not. It may be an excruciatingly painful ripping away of something or someone to which we are deeply attached or it may be a joyous unfettering of something unwanted. No matter what is being left behind, the loss of it offers opportunities for valuable processing leading to growth, awareness, compassion, commitment, and renewed stability.
